CULTURAL ACTIVITY: the museum of Porto Seguro

In the inside there are several rooms, each one is so important, for example the one that represents funerals and different moments of indians' lifestyle and tribes, the one of ancient instruments of navigation in the era of great discoveries by portuguese and spanish expeditions, there is also a documentary that tells stories and old images of Porto Seguro, the room of temporary expositions and painters, and last but not least the recreation of a jail in the time of Brazil's Colony. Everything sorrounded by an area of cimematographic and paoramic views. Don't miss, get a Tour Guide for it.
I RECOMMEND.

INDIAN RESERVE

It's not in everyplace that you'll find indians, their descendants, Rain Forest and a very well structured logistic area (and simple, natural) to receive visitors. Of course you can go to Amazonia, but as well as the Indians in Amazonia, this Pataxó Tribe, they resist.
They have a good location, in a Reserve next to the beach, they have rivers, trees, their own medicine, they propose a track throught the woods, to participate in the rituals and at last but not least, to try their own food: baked fish, deliciouos!
Get a bilingual tour guide so you'll be able to ask them questions wihout any problem.
